The Society’s membership consists of the following grades:
Fellows (FAeSM): Elected from those Members (MAeSM) of the Society who are considered by the Society’s Council to be of exceptional merit and distinction, and who can be expected to assist the Society significantly in achieving its objectives.
Members (MAeSM): Such persons who have made or are making a distinguished contribution to the practice of aeronautics, with minimum experience of 5 years in the sector.
Associate Members (AMAeSM): Persons making a significant contribution in the field of aeronautics, with a minimum of 2 years experience.
Graduates: Persons with an aeronautical qualification, but with less than 2 years experience.
Students: Having an interest in aeronautics evidenced by enrolment in aeronautics-related studies at Tertiary level.
Affiliates: Individuals, without aeronautical qualification or experience, who are interested in aviation and the Society.
Honorary Fellows: Eminent persons, selected either locally or from overseas, appointed by the Council.
Corporate Partners: Companies, businesses or organizations wishing to support the Society in achieving its objectives.
